Mochi Mochi

It doesn't look like much. But Magnolia's sesame ice cream mochi can do great things. Like cure PMS. Significantly promoting world peace.

It's made up of refreshing black sesame ice cream wrapped in translucent glutinous goo. Kaladkarin says it tastes like espasol.

It's good, really. I just can't seem to describe it appetizingly. Maybe I don't want to. Because I want it all to myself.

Magnolia Mochi is also available in ube flavor. But the sesame is much much better. P12 at Rustan's Supermarket, P15 at Mini Stop.

FINALLY, a new post! ;-)

I just saw and tried the mochi the other day, and I also loved the sesame flavor! The ube's not as good, though, parang artificial-tasting. I hope they come out with more flavors. At last, a cheap alternative to the Dreyer's mochi before! :-P

Chilled espasol naman, so you can't replace it with just regular espasol.

Oh, for sesame fans - OK din the sesame ice cream of FIC. Sooo good! (Although it's only my second choice after Avocado.)

I tried this also. I just find the color of the sesame ice cream kinda weird. hindi appetizing tingnan. Pero masarap naman sya. Kinda pricey for something so small...

nakakatawa to. is the renewed enthusiasm due to the strange ("luto") incident that bogchinoypi is undeservingly getting featured in yummy?!!??

hello kaladkarin! whoever you are! welcome to our intermittent foodblog!

Bakit ang mahal sa Mini Stop? Even Mine Shine is 6 pesos cheaper in 711. I think.

Di yun luto Xilca! Pramis! Hahaha.

I haven't tried this yet. I think I'd like the green tea flavor if they'd have one.

Mochi ice cream is popular in my country, Hawaii, and also the West Coast of the United States. If you like to eat mochi, why not try a sweet and cold version of it?
