This is Felipe's new discovery, too! He loves it, and probably things it's "healthier" than regular chicharon. Gotta warn him about that saturated fat content!
Oh, but it also has 8% of your RDA of fiber :-). Try topping it with cottage cheese. Yummm.
Finally got to try this last Friday, over poker. Somebody said it was made from ground green pea. If that's the case, I can eat vegetables now.
Add cottage cheese?! Sure, because it doesn't have enough fat, yet, right? ;-)
I loooove this vegetarian chicharon! I dip it in vinegar for that extra-sour taste! :D
