Over the past few days, the temperature has been averaging 35˚C. Here in the city, it feels much hotter. I have a technique to beat the heat. As I write this, I'm eating fresh mango with shaved ice and evaporated milk. After a couple of spoonfuls, it feels like December. I sometimes use avocado, canned sweet corn, halo-halo mix, or chico. I like it a bit sweet, so I add some unpasteurized honey or Splenda.
